Greek DANCE

The Hellenic Society for the Performing Arts registration forms will be available soon.  Sign-up sheets for Junior Hellenic and Hellenic Society will also be available soon. The Junior Hellenic Society group consists of all high school students (teens entering 9th grade are included in this group). The Hellenic Society group is the college dance troop; young adults going into college and adults who were apart of the group before these new requirements were put into place, are included. Hellenic Society for the Performing Arts is open to all who are interested within and outside the Assumption Community.

The Junior Hellenic Society for the Performing Arts and the Hellenic Society for the Performing Arts dance program is open to all who are interested in joining, both within and outside of our community.  As dancers learn and reach higher levels of performance, the expectations increase as well. Dancers must commit to scheduled practices and performances that we are obligated to attend.  The performance suites and groups that each dancer is assigned will be according to ability and knowledge of all the dances in that particular group and left to the discretion of the director and lead instructor.  This is why it is crucial to attend practices. The Assumption dance groups are as follows, the Alpha Dancers (ages 4-6), the Omega Dancers (ages 7-9), and the Assumption Senior Dancers (ages 10-14).
