Picnic Fore Good, Hosted By Cynthia's Angel Foundation

Cynthia's Angel Foundation was created in 2021 for and on behalf of my sister Cynthia who succumbed to Cancer in 2019. Always with a smile and kind heart lived a very happy, healthy and spiritually devoted life. With life's many challenges she always thought it necessary to try to be of help to others in small ways volunteering her time and talents to her church and organizations such as Crohen's and Colitis;

Variety the Children's Charity to name a few all while operating her own company Poppin Olive Popcorn LLC.

Through it all she had a particular passion for helping animals, elderly, children and to help those organizations with research, healing and care.

In 2023, we continued her legacy and desire to help others by raising funds for Gilda's Club Metro Detroit.

We raised more than $10,000 last year and are determined to raise $15,000 in 2024! Please see the attached invite and in an effort to help Gilda's Club raise as much money as possible I am soliciting contributions for event sponsorship and ad's for the event program.

I am hopeful you will be able to attend with your families and enjoy the day....but in lieu of an appearance please consider a donation for an ad in your name or business to help Gilda's Club and their mission.

My Sincere thanks, Robert Vickrey

Greek Independence Day Parade

Greektown PARADE Update

Please join Fr. Michael  as we march all together in the

Greek Independence Day Parade

Calling all parishioners, altar boys, Goyans, Sunday School students, Greek School students, dancers, everyone!   Please join us Sunday, April 14th to march together with our church family in the Greek Independence Day Parade.  Parade begins at 3:00pm.   Make sure to visit our Greektown restaurants before or after the parade!

Because of events related to the NFL draft, the parade route is different this year. The parade will begin on Brush and then go to Monroe. The parade will line up behind the Old County Building on Brush north of Congress. Please line up neatly. Follow the directions of the marshals, who will be wearing yellow jackets, and your group leader. Our church group will follow the Hellenic Society of the Performing Arts.

Need more information, see Lou Pavledes, Kleo Kolizeras or Achilles Papakonstantinou.
